When Wesley came to Lynne in April, he had a cracked knee and a cracked hip. He thought he would never walk up steps again with pain, but look where Wesley is right now—healed and competing in the Olympics in Paris and the Power-Lifing Olympics.
What is Stem Cell? And why would Wesley Kitts choose this therapy?
Orthopedics: Stem cell therapy promotes the regeneration of cartilage and bone, treating joint injuries and osteoarthritis.
Stem cells are unique cells in the body that have the potential to develop into many different cell types. They can divide and renew themselves for long periods and differentiate into specialized cell types such as muscle, blood, and brain cells. This makes them incredibly valuable for medical research and treatments.
Why Choose Stem Cell Therapy?
- Regenerative Medicine: Stem cells can repair or replace damaged tissues and organs, offering potential treatments for conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and spinal cord injuries.
- Treatment of Blood Disorders: Stem cell transplants, such as bone marrow transplants, treat leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood disorders.
- Reduction of Inflammation: Stem cells have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help treat autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.
- Personalized Medicine: iPSCs can be created from patients’ cells, reducing treatments’ immune rejection risk.
